16 year-old Hope Clarks is a tomboy at heart who is a little too used to being alone. Ever since her mother passed away,her father has traveled for work. Since she could not grow attached to anyone, Hope left something- from a carving in a tree or a message buried in the dirt- so that when someone picked it up, they would know her story every time she moved. But her story changes when she travels to a small town in Connecticut. There she meets Matthew Reynolds, a young boy from Texas with only one month to live after being diagnosed with a heart defect. By hopping from state to state to find a doctor, he had not grown attached to anyone either. But who knows what will happen when two star-crossed lovers meet? Soon though, and be patient with it.. There will be protective fights, suppressed feelings, a sea of emotion, but most importantly companionship. I don't own any of these characters, nor did I really go through and check for grammar.
