Ben Solo finds himself in the one place he'd never expected: with his life in the hands of a scavenger girl.  Our story begins with a quest, and a few twists in the road leading us somewhere we'd never expect to be.  

When the galaxy's most foreboding army loses its leader, life might go back to normal - or there might be something far, far worse lurking beneath the surface.  Can Ben and Rey find each other in time?

Kylo's death ignited a new force no one expected; and the only thing that can stop it, is the dyad itself.

This is a SLOW BURN "reylo" romance.  As alluded to in the title and description, there are other forces at play, and while their relationship is at the center of the story, it's not the only important aspect.  I strive to be as realistic as possible, and to do the characters justice, as well as the Star Wars franchise. In the meanwhile, the Force bond between Rey and the new Supreme Leader not only continues but grows. They begin to be able to see one another's surroundings, touch things... and as the bond grows, so does their relationship. Mutual distrust becomes begrudging acceptance. Then a strange sort of friendship. Based on Star Wars ep. VII: The Force Awakens. "You... you're afraid." I say looking back at him defyingly. "That you'll never be as strong as Darth Vader." I say his hand moving away from me instantly and he takes a step back finally my body gets released from his hold. I notice the expression from his face breaking completely, he is confused even rattled. I breathe heavily and keep staring back at him proud of myself as he picks up his mask and exits the room leaving me tied up to the interrogation chair. How was I able to do all of that? ------ This book is part 1 of my rewrite series. I figured that if If I wanted to rewrite TLJ and TROS the only correct way would be by also doing TFA so here is that. Also, this book is going to be very similar to the movie to a point where it is almost identical but since it's written with different points of views we get to know more about the characters and where they come from. It is very canon compliant especially when talking about the different character backstories. That being said, this doesn't mean that the next two books are going to be the exact same as the movies I want to take the other books in a completely different way. They might still have similarities to the movies but not that many. ------ **I do not own any of the characters in the Star Wars Saga all credits to that go to Lucas Films.**

In the Council, he defends the fate of the stormtroopers though many in the Resistance seek the destruction of the rebuilding Empire more. Is there any way to bring Ben Solo back? Something Rey nor Ben dare to think. Nevertheless it's obvious that it is what both of them want the most in the darkest place of their hearts.
