"Ever since the disaster that mankind called Invertia, the world and its inhabitants had changed. The children born after the Invertia were blessed with miraculous abilities that mankind only ever heard in stories, but as power graced the young generation, the world was forced to change. And as the world grew colder, so did the hearts of the humans who lived in it."

Reposted from fanfiction.net - the work focuses on Amagiri Kirika, an original female character who replaces Amagiri Ayato from the light novel-turned anime and manga as the main protagonist.

FYI: This is undergoing rewrites and will have a separate book for reading. By the time I'm done with rewrites it probably won't look like this, and I'm hoping it will be vastly better. Thanks for those of you reading and enjoying it. When the world gets turned on its head, Tsukiko clings to the last vestiges of her torn up family and learns to let go of the past, bit by bit. A new family, to break down the walls she built after losing the first, and forgotten pieces of her are brought back together by her own personal sun. I recommend reading A Blade in the Dark by @SleepNecessary alongside this story, as there is a lot of overlap between them - a different kind of co-writing.
