Five years passed and the person who threatened Chase was finally gone, so Chase was able to return to Adventure Bay. However, there is one problem. The rest of the Paw Patrol thought had Chase had died. They never replaced Chase's spot out of grief. And when Chase returns after many years, the pups aren't sure if they should trust him anymore. They said there was a kidnapping spree happening throughout the county but they don't have a lead. Tristan asks Chase to come and Chase says yes. When Ryder buys a new PC and installs a game called Minecraft on it, the pups are interested and wants to know how the game works, then the next day when Ryder leaves them to play it on their own, Chase accidentally installs too many mods that caused the PC to override and explode and shutting of the screen. When Ryder took it to get it fixed the next day, the Mechanic said that it was all fine and Ryder was relieved that no harm was done. Or so he thought so. Things very quickly started to change as monsters invaded Adventure Bay and forcing everyone out of their home.
