Anyways-
Ciori Lillian's father is a scientist who found a way to travel to other realms using his quirk and ended up killing his wife during tests to see how to do so. (accidentally, of course)
Unbeknownst to Lillian, he takes her away to another dimension's America at a young age. To all others they sort of disappeared. They went missing. Lillian did not realize it was a different place and thought they had somehow moved overnight but eventually started finding things out so their father sent them back to the world of bnha and to their childhood home. No fuss was made about their initial disappearance and since they looked so different, no one realized it was them.
