The Vessels

Generations ago, there was a war between the Gods and Goddesses and the giants and monsters. The light won but at a cost. A New prophecy was forged. In a couple hundred years there will be another war where the darkness will have their chance for revenge. Using Vessels that are chosen at birth, the two sides will fight once again in a war to end all wars, Ragnarok.'

This is a short story deriving from Nordic mythology about a fictional world of islands. A war is coming and thanks to a prophecy made a long time ago the islands are relying on select people to save their lives and their world.

This is the first instalment of Brenna's journey.
