Wesley Hamilton has played professional rugby in his home country of New Zealand for the past 15 years, living carefree and unattached. What happens when an injury sends him halfway around the world, to a place he's never been, nor wants to be? Will he be able to maintain his "keeping people at arm's length" mentality, or open his mind and heart to something truly unexpected?

Fabiola Martinez has been a physical therapist for the better part of ten years, helping the athletes of the University she works at regain strength and mobility to return to their life of sports. She occasionally has to deal with the male athletes hitting on her but can usually put that fire out before anything gets started. When she is tasked to work with a professional athlete with a bigger ship on his shoulder than hers, will she be able to put aside her initial feelings and submit to a love like she's never known?
