Ally Johnson is a demon. And just like everyone else, she is patiently awaiting her 18th birthday, when she can emerge from beneath the streets of New York City to torment whoever she is assigned.
But the human she is assigned to isn't bothered by her nagging presence. Nor does she want to harm him. Suddenly Ally is sucked into a fight for her life. Will she be able to understand what she's fighting against? Or will the knowledge that she doesn't belong consume her..?

Marie's job is to watch over him at night, to make sure he behaves and doesn't summon any demons.
