Frank is a young freshman who wants to start his own band. He meets a new boy at his school.
Gerard is a junior and people have already started spreading rumors about the new student and many people in the hallways called him a fag, pansy, pussy, etc. However, nobody knows he's very musically talented, and is an amazing singer.
Frank notices Gerard and has heard plenty of rumors but he just thinks there's something special about him and he wants to find out.
Once they meet, frank becomes close friends with gerard and he realizes he has certain feelings towards him.
Gerard is gay.
Frank is bi-curious.

Frank is a newcomer in a quiet, sleepy town, trying to escape his past. It's dull and boring until the arrival of a newcomer that could be the making or breaking of him. He's homeschooled as well, which means he only ever leaves to get groceries. For how little he leaves the house, and how closed off he is, it's quite a wonder how he met Frank. But, their differences don't keep them apart considering these strangers are forced into each other's lives when Gerard finds Frank attempting to commit suicide.
