Kirby had been missing from Dreamland for quite some time, his warp star never found. It almost seemed like the pink puffball had vanished from the place.

It was only when two teens found the long lost warp star that they found themselves on what looked like a one way trip to the whimsical place, but being literal aliens they probably wouldn't be welcomed with open arms.

Dream Land has been turned into a world of paper- which before it had turned into clay and even yarn, did not shock the inhabitants as much as it probably should have. But with King Dedede, Meta Knight, and all but one of the Waddle Dees nowhere to be found, it is now up to everyone's favorite pink hero, Kirby, and his best friend, Bandana Waddle Dee, to save the day with their new mysterious yet familiar friend, Olivia-Ribbon, from her brother, the ominous King Olly.
