The Earth has made contact with extraterrestrial lifeforms with our neighboring planets: Mercury, Venus, and Mars. Each planet holds aliens-Beings-that hold special attributes that help advance the country, USPR (The United States of Planetary Relations) or so we were told. The country has been more polarized than it has already been before. Humans are turning against Beings causing tension between the two. Leila, a young woman imprisoned in one of the largest co-race holding facilities for almost a decade, was charged for a crime she didn't help commit. Every three months, Leila hopes to become a new advocate for the Second Chance program where incarcerated individuals can find a new life outside of their cell. She has huge hopes for the world out there, but the humans and Beings in the facility say otherwise. Is she better out in the real world, or does she favor staying in a cell for the rest of her sentence?
