Aucturita is a person who contains superhuman abilities or powers. A Infirmi is a person who does not have any power. In this world it is very common for people to have powers, they say only 5/1,000 people are Infirmi. Which makes them degraded by people with Aucturita.
Virgil Solus is seen as a Infirmi to his classmates and everyone around him. He doesn't let them now he does have Auctorita. He already gets shunned enough for what he looks like and then being considered a Infirmi makes the bulling much worse, but no one can know his power. They might make him slip up and he can't have that happening. He doesn't have many friends, only one to be specific. Virgil and Remy are a dream team that you could only wish to be as close as the two. But as always Remy still has a lot of other friends that don't understand Virgil.
Logan Greenwood is an average teen with Auctorita. He has a loving family, and amazing friends. Sometimes he doesn't even understand why they put up with how literal he is. Everything changes when he finds the emo in distress, in need of someone to help him.

Logan and Patton are the parents of the adopted 3 year old twins Remus and Roman. Dean (Deceit) is a single father of adopted 3 year old Virgil, who just moved in to the house across the street. Virgil, though only 3, deals with extreme anxiety, he's a slow learner so he doesn't talk very much and rarely, if not ever, leaves Dean's side and has developed trust issues and PTSD due to the incident that caused them to move in the first place. Unfortunately due to the new circumstances, Dean now has to work so that they can afford to live and is unable to afford for Virgil to go to daycare. Since Patton is a stay at home dad and was very friendly the first time meeting, Dean puts Virgil in his care also hoping that it will help Virgil with his social skills and being around other kids his age. Fond nonetheless. They're as close as he'd like them to be. Which is very, very close. A job, where he gets to see that one cute coworker every day, and they can trade snarky comments about whatever sparks their interest that day. Nothing like handing someone a hot coffee while a hot guy whispers hot takes in your ear. A secret, double life, fighting the supervillain Illusion. Who, it just so happens, has the most adorable smile and laugh and eyes and - superheroes were not supposed to be attracted to the very people trying to hurt their city, right? Nor were they supposed to help them defend it against an even worse, more deadly one. Roman Trente has, in summary, the perfect life. Unexpected Wattys 2022
One introvert plus one extrovert and a quarantine order forcing them to stay in an apartment for a unknown amount of time is a recipe for disaster. Or so Virgil thinks. He's a quiet college student who lives an apartment close to campus because he rather not risk random placement. When his friend is looking for another roommate he gracefully accepts. After almost two years of living with the same people, he has some strong opinions. One of those is how much he dislikes Roman. Now he's stuck with him in a three bedroom apartment and he doesn't even have the buffers there to prevent arguments. After a few weeks, though is he truly feeling the same way? Has he always hated Roman or was he just trying to avoid his actual feelings about his roommate? *This is a AU that has to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic and the quarantine situation, it won't have anything too bad about the disease but it will have mentions of it. They are also in college so there might be adult situations and mentions of alcohol. After his caring mother is killed in a horrible car crash that should have killed Virgil as well, his father realizes that Heavens angels are trying to send Virgil back to Hell despite him not doing anything bad. There he meets an annoying kid who somehow befriends him, but little does he know the kid was sent by his father to protect him. His job is to guide souls to the after life, or if they turn malevolent, cut them down. The moment he was assigned to a city, he already had a death to take care of. Except, it turned out to be a false alarm since the man survived. Virgil wouldn't have cared too much since it happens often, but now that man can see him and other spirits.
