Spoilers for BBC Merlin, Season 5 Episode 8: The Hollow Queen
I adore this episode! It's so dark and emotionally conflicting. Dark!Gwen/Morgana's friendship almost feeling real like they had once before, Daegal's character development and death, the revealed backstory on what happened to Morgana and Athusia!
I had an idea for just the one other thing that would make this even more heartbreaking for me.This is me expanding on the Freya/Merlin subtext in the second to last scene. Hope you enjoy!

After every dusk and the darkest hour it always comes the dawn. ~ What if Merlin managed to take Arthur to Avalon? What if Arthur lived? Will they build a fair and just kingdom they dreamt of? Story begins from the moment when Merlin reveals his secret to Arthur. First and second chapter are quite similar to the events from the last episode of season 5, also, I added some changes, so don't get discouraged! 😃 I used it as an introduction to the story. PS: I don't own "Merlin" and characters from the series. _____ Top ranks: #1 in arthurianlegends #1 in knightsoftheroundtable #1 in aithusa #1 in knightsofcamelot #2 in gwaineLengkap

Was it Worth It?
"I have but one thing to say to you, Arthur Pendragon. Was it worth it?" ******* - this story has some profanities, so if that bothers you then please read with caution. - this is NOT a merthur story this is a freylin and arwen one - if something gets intense I will put a noticeable trigger warning at the beginning of the chapter, when the possibly triggering scene starts, and one when it ends. - please stay safe! I care about you all and if you are ever lonely feel free to message me through my account I will try to respond as soon as possible :-)Lengkap
