Nobusaku Akechi. Some knew him as a descendent of the infamous Akechi Mitsuhide while others knew him as the withdrawn boy that enjoyed painting. In the Edo Period of Japan, their little town of Ouka was known for the large, beautiful cherry blossom tree that bloomed all year round. Though he had been sent to the outskirts of Edo without his consent, he found himself content in the peaceful town where he was mocked for his effeminate hobby, rather than his cursed blood. He believed he would simply live and die painting until he laid his eyes on a rambunctious girl born to the Oda clan that had survived the Sengoku era. Sakurahime. The first girl to laugh at his art. The first girl to drag him falconing. And the last girl to steal his heart.

A new world. Somewhere she doesn't belong, and she knows it. But all it took was a pair of golden eyes to tell her that she was more at home here than she would be anywhere else. And all it took was a strong wind to blow her off course. Japan had always been home to him. The mountains, the fields, the little village nearby. He had grown up with it all. But that one full moon changed everything he knew. The strange smell that he didn't know. Something out of place. Normally something like that wouldn't have survived the hour. What he found in that field, however. Wasn't what he expected. An arranged marriage. A secret kept all too well. A death that never happened. A forbidden love that never should have been. And blood magic to deep for any mortal to brake. But no one ever said they were mortal. And no one ever said love has limits.
