{BakuDeku, Temporarily Blind Katsuki Au}

~Some mistakes get made
That's alright, that's okay
In the end it's better for me
That's the moral of the story babe~

"Three months" they said. "It'll only last a little while" they said. But a little while felt like eternity for him. It felt like the worse kind of hell he had ever imagined. A few weeks ago, all of class 2-A were training, long story short- Katsuki ended up getting electrocuted by a certain blond teen. Due to some neurological affects, he didn't bother paying attention to...

It left him temporarily blind.

One day he's talking with his friend, Mina Ashido, about going back to class- even though he doesn't have his White Cane yet. That's when a certain green haired teen overhears and offers to be Katsuki's eyes for the time being.

This ought to be interesting.....

The pink haired teen perked up a bit as an idea popped in her head. "What if you didn't wait for your White Cane, what if you came to classes and stuff- or just walked around when you needed something but had someone to guide you?!" She beamed excitedly.

Katsuki let out a hybrid sound between a snort and a scoff as he shook his head. "No offense but I don't really trust you or the guys to guide me around." He grimaced.

Knowing Mina, she would get distracted and have Katsuki run into a wall... and the boys- do I really have to say why they can't be trusted?

"Well then let's get someone else in class to help!" She chirped, getting lost in thought of all the possible candidates.

Pursing his lips, Katsuki's face morphs into a 'Are you serious' kind of expression- hoping he was looking at the girl completely. "Yeah, because everyone would just jump at the opportunity to help me." Katsuki said sarcastically.

He's an asshole.

And he can admit that.

"I'd do it." Izuku spoke up from Katsuki's doorway, startling the two teens on the bed.

At 25 years old, Izuku Midoriya has built a quiet, fulfilling life for himself as a kindergarten teacher. He spends his days surrounded by laughter, sticky fingers, and endless questions from curious little minds. It's a far cry from high school, where he was just another quiet kid trying to get through the day-especially with Katsuki Bakugo making his life a little harder than necessary. But that was years ago. He's long since moved past it. Katsuki Bakugo, now a rising-star chef, doesn't spend much time thinking about the past. He's got a restaurant to run, a reputation to build, and no patience for distractions. But when Kirishima and Mina ask him to pick up their five-year-old son from school one afternoon, the last person he expects to see waiting at the classroom door is Midoriya. They weren't friends in high school. They barely spoke outside of the occasional insult or glare. But suddenly, they're seeing each other every day, brought together by a kid who won't stop talking about how cool his teacher is. At first, Bakugo's irritated. Then, he's intrigued. Because the Midoriya standing in front of him now-the one who doesn't flinch at his gruff attitude, who holds his own in conversation, who smiles without hesitation-is nothing like the kid he used to know. And Izuku? He doesn't know what to make of this older, calmer-but still frustratingly blunt-version of Katsuki Bakugo. What starts as awkward small talk at school pickup soon turns into reluctant familiarity, then quiet respect, and maybe-just maybe-something more. After all, neither of them expected to cross paths again. But life has a funny way of throwing people back together when they least expect it.

Prologue When Katsuki was 4 he was playing by himself on a log over a shallow river, he used to go to this particular place with his parents all the time a few months ago, but after his father died he seemed to be going alone and this caused him to believe that his mother didn't love him anymore. She seem to never have time for him anymore. He wasn't watching where he was going and slipped on something, as he fell downwards his instincts kicked in and he screamed. All of a sudden he felt arms pulling him in towards something. he looked up and saw an older boy. He had green hair with equally green eyes. "you need to be careful there Kacchan." said the boy with a kind smile. Katsuki turned red in embarrassment. "who are you? and why did you save me? heroes don't need help from anyone!! and don't call me that!!" Yelled the 4 year old. "My name is Izuku and I'm your new friend." Said the boy with another smile as he landed softly on the ground infront of Katsuki's house. "really?!" Asked the child as he was set down. the older nodded as he stretched. "just come to the clearing with the flowers near the lake and we'll play there." said the greenette. Katsuki looked at him and thought about it. his mother had thought him to not go off with strangers, but there was something about him that made Katsuki want to be around him so he did something that would almost sound like Stockholm syndrome to any sane person. "when?" He asked and he saw a wide grin on Izuku's face. "Oh would you look at the time...Kacchan, it's time for you to wake up, but don't worry. Well see each other soon." Said Izuku as he ruffled Katsuki's hair and disappeared.

⸻ {Sparks That Never Died} Katsuki Bakugou and Izuku Midoriya were supposed to grow up together-best friends, side by side, saving the world. Instead, Katsuki burned every bridge he could touch, terrified of the one person who saw him completely. Izuku never stopped reaching for him. Now at U.A., they orbit each other like stars destined to collide-too close to ignore, too broken to pull apart. Katsuki's pride refuses to bend, but every time he looks at Izuku, something inside him cracks. And Izuku... he still smiles like nothing was ever broken, even when it hurts. When a new villain known only as Eclipse sets his sights on Izuku, the world gets darker. Old wounds reopen. Katsuki finds himself fighting a new kind of battle-one that can't be won with strength alone. Because this time, the thing he's afraid of losing... is the person he never stopped loving. Training sessions turn into late-night whispers. Shouted insults blur into shaky apologies. Hands meant to push away begin to hold on. Their relationship becomes a storm-slow-burn, explosive, and heartbreakingly gentle. As U.A. is thrown into chaos and Eclipse closes in, Katsuki has to decide: keep pretending he doesn't care, or tear down the walls he built and admit the truth- He never hated Izuku. He hated how much he needed him. Sparks That Never Died is a messy, emotional enemies-to-lovers journey filled with lingering touches, buried trauma, quiet healing, and a love that refuses to die-no matter how many times it's been thrown into the fire. Because some souls don't just meet... They collide. --- I do not own any of these characters, they belong to the writer/creator of my hero academia. I do not own the cover photo or the photos used in the chapters I have gotten them off of Pinterest. I only own the plot and idea for the story. Vote and comment on what you think. Katsuki Bakugou has always been very cocky. He's never cared for anyone but himself, always getting himself into trouble and not giving a damn about the consequences. He's only 16 when he first gets involved with the police, and 18 when he decided to shoplift with his friends. Only, this time, he was caught. His mother was the one to talk him out of trouble, and then scolded him on the way home. "You're eighteen, you're an adult now. You're gonna go back to school, or get a goddamn job. If you don't pull yourself together by the end of the month, you're out of the house!" Mitsuki screamed, frantically waving her hands around as she dragged her drop-out son to the car. "And pull up your damn pants, I'm not raising a gangster! You have until tomorrow to make your decision." She continued, smacking the blond's arm. The young man didn't give a damn, and refused to make a choice. So his father made one for him - He'd be working at the local library - with his grandmother. Izuku Midoriya is known as the quiet, shy kid. He's only starting his senior year, and excited to graduate so he can head off to university and into his dream job. He spends most of his time studying - although he doesn't need to, he's naturally smart and only reviews his notes out of boredom. Which is why he thought it'd be best to get a job. He'd be able to make money, and do something productive out of his free time. He started working at the library after finishing his junior year, and fell in love with it, so he stayed longer than expected. A simple, quiet job, where he got to meet new people. His only coworker is a sweet old Spanish lady, who talks a lot. So Izuku had heard all about the woman's disappointment of a grandson, and was surprised to find out the troublemaker was soon going to work alongside him. | MATURE | ART NOT MINE | BKDK |

{BakuDeku Au} ~Arc One//Complete~ ~Arc Two//Complete~ He finally did it. After blood, sweat, and a shit ton of tears...Izuku Midoriya is now the number one pro hero in Japan. Amazing, right? It's been a few years since he became number one pro, he's 24 now- pro life is going great. That is until he gets badly injured in a previous fight, now Uraraka thinks it would be best for him to have a partner until he learns 'Self-care'. Except his partner happens to be Katsuki Bakugo, the number two hero in Japan. What could go wrong?------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Excerpt below "The doctor said you got lucky enough to survive the attack- what the hell were you thinking?!" Uraraka asked, her jaw clenching. "I- I wasn't." His voice was hoarse, cracking a few times as he spoke. "It was either face Shigaraki or let hundreds of- of civilians die. What was I supposed to do?" He defended, letting his eyes narrow into slits. "Wait. For. Backup. We were only a few minutes away!" She huffed, sleepily rubbing the dark circles under her eyes. "And how many people would have died in those few minutes Uraraka?" Izuku retorted. She sighed, he was right. He was always right, there's just no use in arguing with him- because he's just going to keep doing it again and again. Izuku is the number one hero after all. An idea rose to mind, it was fairly terrible...but it seemed like the only option. "Look," Uraraka started, lightly grabbing his free hand into hers, "I get it, a lot of people could have gotten hurt- and thanks to you they didn't." "But?" Izuku raised. "But, just because you're a pro doesn't mean you go head first into danger- especially with a wanted villain, without some type of backup! So...I think you need a partner." She cringed back at the end, knowing he wasn't going to like the idea in the slightest bit.

Most of them are very competitive by nature, so you can only guess how extreme it gets. When Izuku pushes a little to far with his childhood friend, Bakugou, their classmates call it quits and they all head to bed. As Izuku makes his way to his dorm, Bakugou stops him. He says he'll do it, because he's not a 'fucking chicken', but only if Izuku agrees to continue the game... As the game gets more heated, so do their everyday lives. Between the seemingly constant fighting and someone with dangerous feelings towards Izuku, will the two be able to get past all of that and finally be friends... or maybe more? ************************* I let out a defeated sigh. "Fine, but you still have to compliment me ya know. That's not going to be an easy task for you." I said with a big smile. There's no way he could do. "Oi, shut up! I can totally do the dare, even if there isn't a whole lot of good stuff about you." He mumbled the last part. I gasped at him. "Rude!" I exclaimed. "Just shut up so I can think!" He growled at me. I sighed, but complied. He thought in silence for a minute or two, just looking into my eyes. I was actually afraid he'd zoned out or maybe fallen asleep with his eyes open or something. Until he finally spoke. "Your eyes... why are they so goddamn pretty?" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
