All this time, Lucifer's Brother, Amanediel, was trying to persuade him to go back to hell but with Lucifer being his stubborn self, he tried to make a deal "bring me back my daughter and i'll think about it." that only leaves with Amandiel growling in disagreement and leaving which leaves Lucifer with a saddened heart. He missed his daughter truly, he always thought about her... but... he had to not show weakness and vulnerability in front of anyone. He kept his head up and let his boastful self take over.
