Burnley Manor is a house which has been lost to time. When Anne Montague accompanies her best friend on a trip to Barnet, the last thing she expects is to be catapulted into a love story that has spanned centuries. Her sheer presence in the house sets in motion events that are beyond her control, she feels things she cannot explain, knows things she couldn't possibly and people she had never met before recognise her. Before she knows it, secrets are unearthed that have consequences for her and all who reside at Burnley. And there is a small matter of a 500-year-old curse that threatens to destroy them all. Can Anne save them before all is lost?

(A Love Story based on BBC's Ghosts) Lavinia Blythe was never meant to die so young - or so unfinished. A suffragist, a scholar, a stubborn granddaughter no one expected, she arrives at Button House in a cloud of lace and indignation, armed with nothing but wit, willpower, and a haunting ability she can't quite control. Thomas Thorne falls in love with her immediately, of course. Lavinia doesn't even remember his name. But as the weeks pass and old walls echo with new laughter, something begins to shift. In the quiet hours between arguments and afterthoughts, Lavinia uncovers a family she never knew, a grief she never faced, and a love that-against all odds-might just be worth haunting for. A story about legacy, loneliness, and the soft rebellion of staying behind.
