"John B please" "McKenzie, I can't do this right now" he pushed my arm away. "Let me explain please" I pleaded, "Don't leave me alone when I need you more than anything right now." I begged. Running down the stairs after him. "Please!" I screamed out. Grabbing his arm in hopes to stop him from leaving. He shook me off, turning his head to face me. "I need some time to think" he said, before walking out the front door and into his van. Dropping on my knees I screamed. My sobs echoed throughout the house. Peering down to my hands at the blue and white stick that read 'positive', I clutched it to my chest. My fate has been decided.

No bodies were found which gives them the smallest sliver of hope. But hope of what? That their friends somehow survived that deadly storm? That their bodies are still floating around somewhere in the Pacific? There is no hope anymore. John B, their best friend, is dead. There's nothing more to it. He's dead and so is Sarah. Coming to terms with this has been one of the hardest and single most heartbreaking thing any of the pogues have had to deal with.
