In everyone's life there is a person because of whom they laugh a little harder, cry little less and smile a lot. Same is in my life, he is not the love of my life, not my life line, not my brother, father not someone everyone expects, just my friend, my best friend,Shane Peter Madison. He and I have been best friends since 11 years...ya that's a lot time but yup. Actually our parents were best friends so we became best friends too. Somehow, there is a big story behind us being friends even after our parents were best friends but what we can say here we are. Well, we have fought a lot seriously a lot and became friends again and again.... yup.We both are chatter box we couldn't keep things in our stomach,so, no matter how hard we try to avoid each other we get back together , eventually.
This summer it was different we did not exactly fought but we did not exactly talked, we were together but not actually together, we were friends but not exactly friends anymore......its kind of weird I know but its the truth. We ourselves did not know what we are,not anymore?we were confused, messed up but did not have a clue? I figured it out in Dear Shane..... kind of, maybe! but for you to know flip the page, go on, do not let your curiosity die maybe you could kind of help me...

Carter came around the corner as his eyes darkened with a predatory gaze. Oh no. He took a step forward, minimalizing the distance with every dominating stride, as I froze in my spot. My breath hitched as his arms finally encircled my waist and his eyes locked with mine. In one swift motion, he flipped my body so my back was pressed against his chest and hands gripped the curve of my hips.
"What game are you trying to play at Valerie?" he spoke in a husky voice.
Goosebumps danced along my skin as his hot breath fanned against the shell of my ear and his fingertips lit a trail of blazing heat along the length of my arm.
Mentally shaking myself from the trance of that which is Carter Bryson, I tilted my head towards him and whispered; "One where you'll lose." Quickly escaping his hold on me before the tension became unbearable, I spun on my heel to face him and slowly backed away towards the exit. "Good luck though." I added mischievously.
With a smirk and a devilish glint in his eyes that could even give hell a run for its money, he replied; "I'm not a player though, baby. I'm the gamemaker."
