Everyone knows Lea Hampton and Jesse Williams hate each other. It's the first thing you notice when you move to Calibelle Island. But when Lea commits suicide, it scares everyone. Jesse starts to think that maybe it was his fault, and starts to feel horrible. One day, walking past Calibelle Island's graveyard, he is greeted by death himself. Death knows Jesse's feeling down and offers a proposal: he will turn back the clocks 29 days, and if Jesse can convince Lea not to commit suicide, Lea gets to live. But if Jesse can't, both Lea and Jesse will die.
