Whether they were enemies or not, they had to work together to face a new challenge in another world where magic is key to success. The creature looks like a dragon called 'Zenido' rules the sky. The threat of foreign nations brought us together, and we will show them who is the boss. Together, they restored order, economy, and military to survive against all threats of the world. Anti-Magicless, anti-human, and everything that was against humans from Earth. With the power of the human spirit, can they survive with all the resources they have? Fearing their power, Zeus split them into two separate being, condemning them to spend their lives in search of their other halves." - Plato's The Symposium. Dragon's Lover {KiriBaku}
The world's war against dragons has been going on for generations, but no one knows why they fought. After years of fighting a new species emerged, shapeshifters. They were able to shift between a dragon and human form, making them impossible to find. Everyone referred to them as halflings, half dragon and half human. They were said to have wondrous abilities ranging from an armor like pelt to healing powers. These abilities made them prized creatures and wanted across all lands. Those that were discovered usually ended up as pets or fighters in arena's. After five years of their existence they all went into hiding, fearing what the humans did to those that had been captured. They were taught at a young age to never show what they could do to a human, as it would lead to being caught and possibly killed. There were small sanctuaries in each town, though they appeared to be normal hotels or orphanages. And this is when our story takes place.... Searching
AJ Lane's best friend Nikolai Harris was obsessed with Greek Mythology; particularly the myth that Zeus feared the power of humans so he cut them all in half, forcing them to forever be in search of their other half. He believed there was one person out there for everyone and when they found each other, they would be whole again. That's no secret, but when he dies on graduation night, AJ's entire life is thrown off track. She's forced to face life without him and discovers with a little help from his journal, some crazy dreams of a past lifetime she doesn't remember, a new boy who immediately steals her heart and a Demi-God that claims he's one of Zeus' sons that maybe what Nik believed was true and that maybe finding the other half of your soul isn't always a good thing. Maybe it brings about just as much destruction as it does happiness.Tamamlanmış Hikaye
