Meanwhile on Earth, the year is 1997. It's the first week after Summer vacation, and the transfer student Yume Yumemiru wants to form a Cardfight Club. But she is shocked to find out that one already exists at Fuyumi Highschool, with only one member, the aloof Taichi Hironori.

The season is summer. Only one month remains until the long awaited summer holidays, but before that, the students attending the cutthroat GEN Academy must first pass their final exams for this term! However, seemingly out of nowhere, GEN Academy unleashes it's first special exam on the students?! The devious Test Shuffle pits the 1st Year classes to face-off against each other in the finals by having each class create the exams they'll be taking for each other! E Class are in a precarious position as they've been chosen to attack A Class and defend against D Class, the two strongest classes in their year. They'll need help from their most academic students, Nora and Ayano, just to stand a chance against either of them. However, trouble arises when Ayano refuses to cooperate with the class and Nora's spirit is crushed by Machida, who vandalises their classroom as revenge for Nora's outstanding midterm results. This leaves the role of creating the exams to Matsushita and Sakigamiya, the class representatives, but Takanori is still looking to take them down from the shadows. Following what he witnessed between Kawaguchi and Shigeru, as well as fuelled by the bet Kazuraba and Yogen made, Takanori is searching for what happened in Matsushita's and Sakigamiya's past that sent them to E Class. Renji finds that Amu has been diagnosed with a chronic illness, and only has two more week to live due to being diagnosed so late. Not wanting her to die, Renji soon finds herself competing in a Vanguard tournament called the Fated Clash, where the winner of the Clash will have their wish granted. I do not own "Cardfight!! While, Toshiki Kai is already in Europe competing in the Euro League, Kamui Katsuragi is about to enter Senior High School, and Misaki Tokura is in the same college as Miwa Taishi Not only that, as time goes on Misaki felt something different when he sees him.
