We all know Joseph joestar was way to old to take care of the gal, and Jotaro couldn't even care for his own daughter (though he didn't want her hurt cause of stand users but anyways-!) a young gal as yourself has been given the role to be her caretaker. Being sent back to her home place Morioh to take care of her along side Joseph.
(In this story heads up Suzie Q would be passed on, giving only reason for Joseph to come along to 1 watch Shizuka grow and 2 send more time with Josuke)
