A young woman named Maya "Mizuna" Vincents had just moved to New York City and begun her job at the NYPD 27th Precinct. Upon her first day, she gained a partner by the name of Dee Laytner. As they begin to get closer, Mizuna is determined to keep Dee safe by making sure her secret stays within the shadows, promising to protect him from the demons that roamed the streets and wrath of high Heaven. It's one misadventure and awkward moment to the next as the two of them try to sort out their relationship and feelings, while still keeping up with their jobs and their "normal" lives.
