These words replay in seventeen year old Edward's mind after getting diagnosed with a rare disease that causes great pain when around electronic devices. He then leaves his idyllic home planet behind to join the military.
His only option: A Sarcophagus. An ancient relic created by long dormant Titan A.Is. Controlled by the nobility and used to cure any illness with ease.

His plan takes him to the planet Callae. The Hollow world. Where an underground civilization is under constant war against machines deep under the planet's surface. There, he joins 'The Rats'. This is the first time I've written a story like this, however I feel that I should explain some plot points since I did try to stick as close to the anime canon as possible but there are a few things I'd like to clear up first.
