Mature
Hector Barbossa is an ambitious pirate, thrown unexpectedly into the world of Captains and leadership, when his commanding officer is killed. Medallion Greene is a young boy, who longs to be accepted for his true nature and ability; but his dark and bloody past is ever catching up to him. Can Medallion find the respect and peace he is looking for, when his destiny seems forever tied to the legendary bearer of the Twin Dragons? How will Hector cope, when he realises he is falling in love with a strong-willed, mysterious, yet unsuspecting woman, that he should resent with all his heart? And how are the young pirate, and the new Captain linked, in their two, seemingly unconnected tales?

Those of you that use Quotev might recognise this title from that platform. However, whilst I liked the majority of that story, bits of it really didn't feel right, so I am rewriting this fic and posting it here (I will probably upload the new version onto Quotev at some point, but hey, thought I'd give Wattpad a whirl).

All the characters belong to Disney, apart from the ones that I have created for the purpose of this story (Medallion Greene, the crew of the HMS Ambassador, etc.). Any artwork I have used is not my own, and rights belong to the respective creators (I just like pretty pictures -_-;). I hope you enjoy reading this story as much as I enjoyed writing it. Happy reading!

Nixon is the 3rd book in the Broken Series. (Ryan is the 1st, Brynn is the 2nd) Nixon leaves rehab early because he can't deal with being there anymore. His sister Kelis finds someone in need of a roommate so he moves in with the girl and gives her his middle name, Lucas. He quickly becomes addicted to the girl and once he gets one taste he's done for. He warns her about his past, about his name, but she ignores all the red flags, not realizing exactly how intertwined she is with the people from his past. He becomes enamored with her, feels like she was made for him while still battling the demons of his past and soon it all becomes too much for him to handle. He makes a heartbreaking decision, thinking it's what's best for both of them and everything changes.
