Emma typically lives a normal life a single mother in StoryBrooke. She's the deputy of Hyperion Heights and keeps a daily routine to keep her mind away from her painful past until one day she meets a girl who's currently living a painful past. 

  Laya is visiting for the summer just to get a break from taking care of her mentally broken mother who has an extreme personality disorder. She hopes that the change in scene will be able to save her mother from drowning. Will Emma be able to help save Laya's mother?

This is based off of the movies "Split" and "21 First Dates"
