This tale is  inspired by their fast-paced and a stubborn kind of love filled with unexpected twists and turns that happen mainly because of their families and one very protective brother Toprak. And let us not forget one righteously correct grandmother set in her ways...

As the wonderful upbeat series "Inadina Aşk" ended in a rather abrupt way, let's see where the story could have led if it had a chance to breathe a bit longer. 

Let's dive in and see what the future and Fate had in store for Yalin and Defne the moment Yalin realized they could not hide their love from the rest of the world any longer...

Since every character has a back story, so does Yalin. And he will have to face the hurt and pain of his past in order to look forward to a guilt-free future with his stubborn and cute-as-a-button Defne.

Snippets of alternate outcomes in the lives and enduring love story of Can Divit and Sanem Aydin. When I started out with this story, I only intended to loosely base the 'short piece' on the events in Bolum (Episodes) 17 & 18 however, I got such positive feedback, I decided to stretch it out a bit. I'm still unsure how far I will stretch it but so far, I'm enjoying writing it and will keep going till I run out of steam. I can't think of any show/movie that I've watched in recent times to which I have reacted as I did when I watched Erkenci Kuş. The characters hooked their claws into me and wouldn't let go. I rooted for Sanem and Can; cried and laughed with them; railed at and cursed their detractors and finally rejoiced over their reunion. However, the ending was so rushed. After all the angst we were put through with their relationship, I felt robbed of an extended happily-ever-after. What we were given was too short. I hope to right that wrong, amongst others, with this story. Though I only watched the show in Jan/Feb 2023, I have since rewatched it countless times. There were certain parts of the plot which wound me up so much so this is me writing what I wished had happened. Enjoy!
