Rick is a 34 year old male who serves as the right hand of the city of Toronto. He has no goals in life, instead opting to focus on his own survival and immediate gratification. After having run away from home at the age of 13, he has a chance encounter with an individual named Frank who leads him to his farm in Bowmanville. Without having any knowledge of Frank's true motivations, he takes the opportunity to have a roof over his head and study the occult in order to free himself from the shackles of reality. Unfortunately, this all ends in tears as he is unwittingly possessed by the spirit of The Legion who takes advantage of Rick's lust for power and control by guiding his hand. Realizing what he's done, Rick flees from the farm with the haunting memory and constant taunts of The Legion tearing away at his psyche.

Two straight days of running later, he finally finds himself in the city of Toronto who appears to him in visions - much like it had to the shamans that once lived in her lands. The city sees Rick as a kindred soul; lacking in direction and only wanting to find some manner of personal identity. They strike a bargain where Rick is told where to go through ambiguous messages to carry out her wishes and in return she shields him from the ever-present threat of being consumed by inner demons.

She was suddenly interrupted by a call on that hand phone. Thomas asked her if she knew where Hannah, his girlfriend, was since he had gotten a message from her with a phone number. She has been joined to a group chat with Hannah's friends and family while she is still perplexed. After all the commotion from the group chat, a hacker by the name of Jake got in touch with her. He asks for MC's assistance in finding Hannah, and MC must comply because she has no other option. The more information the MC learned about Hannah and the others while looking for clues, Jake and MC thought one of Hannah's friends was responsible for Hannah's disappearance. Then, MC learned about the man without a face, legendary Duskwood creature; he leaves a raven's mark on the doors of the worst sinners. Each year, on the night of the first new moon, he returns to the houses he has marked, drags anybody inside-guilty or not-out into the forest, never to be seen again. MC initially refused to believe in paranormal phenomena, but as time went on, inexplicable catastrophes began to occur. The faceless individual attacked Jessy, threatened Cleo's mother in a letter, and painted a red raven symbol on Richy's garage. Jake and MC continue their investigation into Hannah's disappearance because it appears that no harm has been done until Richy was attacked by the man without a face in the woods and was bleeding. What will MC do after that? Will she finish her inquiry or halt it before another person dies? ****************************************************************** English is not my first language, I'm sorry for grammar error ⚠️ All rights to Everbyte Credit picture : Google & Unsplash

I've finally taken a break from Undertale! I know, crazy, right? Anyways, this is going to be a Percy Jackson fanfiction. I introduce quite a few OC's in this story. I suck at descriptions, so I'll give it my best shot. The world has been saved from power-hungry immortals seeking vengeance multiple times. Trouble keeps finding the small group of demigods at Camp Half-Blood and Camp Jupiter. The world has been shaken to the core, yet mortals couldn't have been more blind. This even goes for a small group of friends that recently moved to New York. But are they really mortal? Hailey has lived in Wisconsin all her life, yet she never seems to stay in the same spot for more than a few years. She has seen every crook and cranny of the dairy state, but after an accident, she finds herself in the state of New York. She lives with her grandma in a small house in the suburbs of Manhattan. Despite all she's been through, she loves living with the one person she felt closest to, away from trouble. Until now. Beth has grown up in the Windy City and stayed there for her whole life. Her mom has decided that going to New York for vacation would be a good idea. They're now staying in a hotel close to the beautiful sights of Long Island Sound and hopes to relax. But then she sees something by the Sound. . . . Cornelius has grown up in the ghetto and has learned to be tough. He's picked up many things on the streets and has lived off his wits and strength. He has now moved to Manhattan in yet another ghetto. But will he be tough enough to face the challenges ahead? The three friends have reunited only to be whisked away by a mysterious teenager. Now, they're all they have. They will learn to work together and save the world. Who is the enemy, and will these new friends succeed? None of the characters except for my OCs belong to me. This fanfiction is purely fictional and does not relate to the original series by Rick Riordan whatsoever.
