They first met at her funeral. She was the one crying out rivers and lakes, while he didn't shed a single tear. They united at a common goal, a shared loss and joint hatred. They both needed Revenge.
But working together can prove to be quite difficult for these two people, unless a certain spark somehow arises. 

This is a story about two adolescents, who deal with their problems in all the wrong ways, and refuse to accept their inner feelings.

They also find out that what Kubo and (Y/n) are searching to protect, is what the people who set the fire really want. And the power Kubo and (Y/n) retrieve to fight, is not nearly as powerful as the power that still grows between the two of them.
