Reaping of the Shadows: The Armored Stars Saga

The Child King, ruler of the Twin Moon System, has executed the Cardinal Representative. The Arch Bishop's response; immediate excommunication. The knights, their squires, and a Scath assassin have been sent to deal with the Child Kings blasphemy.

In preparation for the inevitable assault on his legitimate rule the Child King has named himself Head of the Church and violated the orders of the Pontiff. His Royal Knights, the Guard of the Child, have had their genetic coding re-altered to combat the effects of the true church's efforts to activate their loyalty coding.

Many have been driven mad in the process, and the Pontiff has named them The Child's Degradation Army. Now the Shadow of the True Church reaches across the Galaxies mixing with the Shadow of the Malicious Child King; but from deepening darkness will rise one that was nurtured in the primal night of a lightless planet and with him will come The Reaping of the Shadows.
