Prior to his search for Tessaiga, greater power and to be stronger than his Father, the late Inu no Taishō, a younger and infuriated Sesshōmaru was left in the Western Lands with nothing but a sword, a dragon, his pride and an unanswered question. Though he often ventured away, there was a time when he remained within the lands, where he and his two followers - plus Myōga - dealt with one woman. The things he saw, heard and experienced were what influenced him to be the type of person he was when he and Inuyasha first met.
