Long ago, when the pyramids were still young, mighty Egyptian kings played a game of great and terrible power. However, these "Shadow Games" soon erupted into a war that threatened to destroy the entire world, that is until a brave and powerful young pharaoh locked the magic away, imprisoning it within the seven mystical Millennium Items. 

Many millennia later in the 1960s, Solomon Moto has retrieved the Millennium Pendant, now called the Millennium Puzzle, from the Tomb of the Nameless Pharaoh. Over the years, however, no one has been able to assemble the puzzle. That is until Solomon's grandson, Yugi, finds the puzzle in the family game shop and spends eight years trying to solve it. Now that he's solved it, his adventure has begun.

After 5,000 years, the powers of the Millennium Puzzle have been unlocked, and the wheel of fate has begun to turn! Thus, the puzzle infuses its solver, Yugi, with ancient magical energies as well as the spirit of the young Pharaoh; for destiny has chosen him to defend the world from the return of the Shadow Games just as the brave Pharaoh did thousands of years ago. 

"Please..."

An ancient prophecy whispers that, if all seven Millennium Items are brought together along with the three Legendary God Cards, the magic will once again be released, and the Pharaoh spirit's memories will be restored...

"...Remember me..."

Yet there is still more, for the young Pharaoh did not stand alone against the Shadow Games. He was joined by his loving Queen, whose sacrifice permitted him the time necessary to lock the magic away. Now that the puzzle has been solved, the Queen's spirit has awoken within her reincarnation: Songo Fujimoto.

"...My King."

However, the prophecy also whispers of impending tragedy - that history will be repeated once again. 

What will be the fate of the nameless Queen's incarnation?

This story has recently been put in the Yugiohwattyawards for 2017! If you haven't followed them yet I would recommend it! There's always some really awesome books entered! Atem was born into the royal house hold in Egypt. His life was to say the least exceptional. He had anything he could ever want, Toys, games, clothes, pets. The only thing that would dampen Atem's life is that when he was 3 he contracted polio and lost his ability to walk. then one day 2 a new son was born into the royal family, named Yami. 6 months later a plague swept through the grain fields in Egypt leaving the people hungry. The pharaoh being preoccupied with this had no time to spend with his wife and children. Angered by this the queen comes to the conclusion that it's Atem's fault and that he needed to be punished. Condemned to be lock in his room and forgotten about Atem soon finds comfort in an imaginary friend named Yugi. Ten years later Atem is still locked up like a prisoner. When Atem's father finds out about Atem his mother agrees to have a servant look after him. To Atem's surprise the servant boy looks exactly like his imaginary friend he had when he was younger.

A hikari without a yami has a year to live and will slowly vanish, the said hikari will become particles of lights before completely gone like a candlelight that has burned out. It has been a month since Yugi has live on her own without her yamis. She lost her friends thanks to a lie that Vivian and Anzu spread and to make things worse her grandfather was died due to an accident back in Egypt. Everyday that has pass makes Yugi's condition worsen to the point that Dark Magician is pissed at Atem and Yami and makes a decision to look after his Mistress Yugi in placed of them. Will they realize their mistake before Yugi's time runs out or will Yugi die in vain? [A/N]: I do not own Yu-Gi-Oh! but the story plot is mine and nope I don't hate any Yu-Gi-Oh Characters, I just have my most favorite to least. Living in the neighborhood of Yugi, Yusei and Diva. I searched for my missing friends that is eating me up inside. Will my ties to a certain Pharoah, and duel spirits help me, or break me? Dark Magician/Mahad is a closer person/ duel monster to reader/me. Diva/Aigami is possibly more than just a friend. Atem and you are on good terms, and quite close. Kaiba is/was your boss. Yusei is a always there friend to help. This book is labeled as mature because it does have some violence, language, and blood at times. This story mostly takes place after the events of The Dark Side Of Dimensions, though the reader/me knew Yugi and his friends for a long time before hand.
