Eleanor "Nell" Swan, Charlie and Renee's oldest daughter, moves to Forks, Washington after her younger sister Bella has a near fatal accident in Phoenix. Reunited with friends she made during the summers she spent with her father, Nell feels like she is truly home for the first time in a while. When the Cullens pack up and leave town Nell's heart breaks as her sisters world is shattered. Dragging her to Jacob Black's for some quality time she tries to pull her sister out of her funk. It works until Jacob pulls away too, abandoning Bella just like Edward did. Enraged, Nell sets out on a mission to scold Jacob, when she meets Paul Lahote, third in command to Sam Uley.
