Mila Aebi is trapped in a not-so-fun fair with fifteen other students after being accepted into the university she thought she longed for. At first the fair seemed rather tame, but when the Headmaster shows up a killing game is announced. The only way to escape the gate trapping them inside is murder, and Mila struggles finding the optimism to believe her fellow peers would never kill. The one thing she keeps close to her to help her go on is a line her brother had always said to her: "To doubt others is to only expect a negative experience with them. But to believe others is to understand both sides, you can see them harming you, but you also see them as companions. Belief is all you have if you want to make alliances in this world, remember that."
