Inspired by the song 'CAROUSEL' by ARIES

"You need to let me go, I just can't be what you need. I'll never be as pretty as the other players' girlfriends. I'll never be able to be that girl that drops everything and goes to your games. I'll never be enough... we're going in circles, and I'll just never be enough. Please, just let me leave." Gretchen looked up at Quinn, seeing tears in his eyes as he grabbed onto her wrist, stopping her from leaving the apartment.

"I can't. I know you can't see it, but we're end game. I'm not letting you leave, and I'll do whatever it takes to make you realize how much you mean to me. You're enough. I'd leave it all, for you. Stay. Please." Quinn grabbed Gretchen by the waist and wrapped his arms around her, burying his head into the crook of her neck, tears starting to stream down his face.
"Please," he sniffed, "You can't leave."

Bad Idea - Q. Hughes

45 parts Complete Mature

"My waves meet your shore, ever and evermore."' Hallyn Boeser was starting a new chapter in her life. A new job, a new city, and new friends. The opportunities were pouring in and she couldn't help but feel a little bit excited for everything that was to come. Little did she know she was about to clash with her brother's best friend. The captain of the team she was now working for. Quinn Hughes was the man she hated most in the world. He was mean and sharp around all his edges. He made it his life's mission to make her as miserable as possible. At every turn she took he was there ripping her apart from the inside out with the hateful words he spewed. Hallyn and Quinn were two ships battling on the same shore. Their lives were so intertwined that it was impossible for either of them to get away. After spending every waking moment together in the heat of a beautiful Michigan summer, Hallyn realizes that the man she hates might actually be someone she secretly loves.
