Blurb:
When Qibli and his best friend Moon begin their time at Jade Mountain academy, they meet a SeaWing named Turtle and an IceWing named Winter.
They hope to have a nice, normal time at the academy, cooperating and learning together. But Winter is cold and distant, and refuses to interact much with the other dragonets. And Qibli has a crush on him.
Secrets are revealed, and Moon may be able to help Qibli with some powerful NightWing magic. But something about Winter that Moon can't describe is blocking her off.
To make matters worse, Moon has a terrible vision of flames and death, and only the four dragonets can save Pyrrhia.
Amidst the chaos, Qibli realises that he might just have to do everything the old-school way.
This story is completely PG, no smut or other 18+ content.

This story takes place after the 3rd arc, and has spoilers for the 2nd arc (books 6-10). I wrote this before the end of the 3rd arc, and have therefore taken some artistic liberties. I did not read any of the arc 3 books when I wrote this, I only gathered information from the WOF Wiki. I do not claim ownership of the Wings of Fire book series by Tui T. Sutherland and Scholastic. Blazing Ice (Winter x Qibli fanfic)
Winter has a crush on Qibli, but Qibli is already with another dragon: Moon. He might have to accept the fact that he may never be able to be with Qibli. This is my first fic so it might be terrible I know it's marked as complete but I'm still making new chapters. The story is complete up to chapter 5, everything else is just extra. Also fixed some grammatical errors! I guess I should also say that this won't fully follow canon and also might contain a few slurs (not rn, but other future chapters) Cover art by fluffdarken on Twitter. Moon has sadly passed away, leaving Winter and Qibli half dead. they both are crying heaps of dragon. Mostly Qibli, Moon was expecting an egg, and it cracked when she died. but of course, Turtle had to come to the rescue. he enchanted an egg that would never hatch on its own to be Qibli and Winter's dragonet. he took them both to sanctuary and gave it to them. then he flew off faster then an eagle set on fire.
