Vixen Phoenix, a wood elf, suddenly wakes on a wagon with unknown people. And her hands are bound! She tries to remember what lead up to this event, unable to remember anything, only her name and race. Looking for clues of herself, learns from others that she walked into an Stromcloak ambush by the Imperials, taken in as a prisoner for her appearance to the event. And the worst of this? She's being executed for no reason!
Being in between a war of two different opinionated forces, isn't desirable. Being in an Age of Dragons returning-? *Wait dragon's!? Like the fabled, legendary dragons? Ah, I'm getting off script sorry...* Being in an Age of Dragons returning is even more undesirable. Whats even worse of being, almost, executed for no reason? She's the only one that can permanently put down the rising dragons!
What else could happen now?! *Oh great I just jinxed everything up*

It all starts when she is caught with her gang robbing a bank and is sent to juvenile girls detention centre. She has one choice stay a criminal and stay in the not so friendly jail, or to become a hero and be respected and have people forgive her a lot more. How will her gang respond to her decision to become a hero will they try to kill her or let it go. There is a lady who also knows about what Sky can do and will try to eliminate her at all costs no matter on her decision. So sit tight for some adventure, action and science fiction. (There is no swearing or really gross romantic stuff. Except has quite a bit of violence and some humor, unless my jokes are pathetic. So besides a little bit of violence this story is clean) Anyway she ends up meeting a few enemies Blood Arrow, The Pirate gang( who will stop at nothing to try and kill her) , the Red Dark Flame criminal army and Ernestine (The sociopath that can control Sky's mind.) Anyway I may have made the story sound boring (because I seem to make everything seem boring when i explain in not that much detail.) But trust me I have planned stuff to keep you entertained. Esme had one big fear in life: being captured as a thief by the city's guardsmen and being executed for her crimes, and that so heavily weighed on her mind that she increased her risks by being distracted in the middle of a heist. That's when she runs into Althalos Fourthborn: Inner Circle Guardsman, one of the many princes of the realm, an Aelif (Dark Elf, local dialect)...and her betrothed by treaty. (That was something her almost human mind could not handle.) So she calls off the heist, gets demoted into a far more risky job, learns the true bitter depth of what this treaty's bond is like, and lands safely by her prince's side....sort of. There were people who still wanted to end her life, even if she was in what most people would call a Happily Ever After. That and her prince had his own living fears that were gnawing at any chance they had. That and she might just lose her mind from everyday boredom. But the one she couldn't wrap her all-too human mind around was that she would one day grow wings and fly away from her almost Happily Ever After to live in a hive with ancestors more alien than a hottie with pointed ears and abandonment issues. ~~~~ Yes, there are adult themes in this book, and difficult subjects, but nothing is excessive, as this is probably my simplest story.
