Set several years after the end of KOA and ACOWAR.
Aelin and Rowan have rebuilt their kingdom and are enjoying the peace that they had brought to the world, Rhys and Feyre are doing the same in their own world.

On the anniversary of the end of the war that saw to the end of the Valg, as Terressan prepares to receive the kings and queens of their allies for a memorial held every five years, it is interrupted by the arrival of several fae claiming to be be the High Lords and Ladies of another world. With them comes old friends and allies, thought to be long since gone. However, new and old enemies soon follow.

I'm scared to hurt him. He shifts his gaze to me. His hazel eyes gleam into my blue ones as if he knows something that I don't. "You're right. I had five hundred years, five hundred years to stay with my friends and five hundred years to find other hobbies." He pauses, taking in breath. "But I had five hundred years without you, we only had two weeks together. And those two weeks were the best I've ever had.
