Garroth had never spoken to him, but rather admired him from afar. He had long since developed quite a large crush on the boy, but never had the guts to so much as wave to him in the hallway. Let alone confess his feelings to him...

Garroth likes to read. He loved feeling like he was the main character, always on an adventure of some kind. It's something his friends teased him about. It seemed that almost every week he had a new book with him. He'd read every single chance he got, and spent most of his lunch breaks in the school library. His most recent book was the last of seven in the Harry Potter series, and he was ready to take on another. Garroth's only friend, the school's librarian, gives him a book that she had in her bag.

When his eyes land on the very first word, he feels as though he's been soaked into the book. He was the brave prince the story told of, riding on horseback through the town each day to visit his love: a poor ostler who worked for the village's local inn.

But something is off for him...

This fairy tale feels too real...
