Merlin is Prince Arthur's servant like he has been for the past almost three years. However, the air between them changes gradually, and an unexpected romance is born.
This is an alternate storyline where Gwen and Arthur never get married and Arthur doesn't die as young as he did.
Takes place around the time period of Season 3, at a time when Morgana is evil but is still putting on the facade that she is good, but Merlin and Gaius know the truth, and Gwen is very suspicious.

Merlyn's Last Dream
Sequel to 'Merlyn's Fate'. Based on Series 3 of Merlin. When true evil plagues a seemingly hopeless destiny, friendship tethers old ghosts to haunted morals. Silence is never the answer when thievery is afoot, stolen kisses breaking the rules of the heart. Goblins lurk around every corner, magic ruling tournaments, a lost prince found in the arms of one he can never love. Darkness falls as immortality rises, skeletons break free to devour the golden phoenix's last song. And in the midst of it all, a lone girl stands, a champion for good, inflicted by little more than pain. I don't own any of the characters other than Merlyn, enjoy!
