It was an explosion that changed it all. Once they were all human, all normal. But not anymore. Nobody is safe, nobody can be trusted. Nobody can escape...or can they?
Callie Woods is awoken after her parents' laboratory explodes in an otherwise fatal security failure. She doesn't remember much, only fragments of her past that come up whenever they please. She doesn't know who to trust, whose words to believe. All she knows is she wants to get out of this place. But what if someone- many someones- tried stopping her?

(NOTE: Everything up until Chapter 5 has been rewritten. What you're reading are the rewrites, and every other chapter following were written within the span of 2019-2020. This is the last time that I will be publicly posting rewrites, either until the entire story is complete or, fingers crossed, I find a publication office.
