in before the storm, mr rikkard ambrose meets a few people who have a lasting impact on him, one in particular. pearl, was quite the girl then and despite his general distaste for her choice in husband, or the activities they participated in with him around, he remembered her distinctly. unlike many of the nameless sea of faces he had encountered in the past few years, she was something else. he didn't know why but he found himself running towards her counsel after lillian's rejection, other than the fact that the silence he had sought comfort in was replaced by incessant noise, which only let up when he slept.

"Give me one valid reason as to why I should sign this?" He said leaning back on his chair, folding his arms against his chest. "Umm...you'd get a young, intelligent, empathetic, loyal and a passionate wife? And Bonus, she's gorgeous as well." she answered with a grin, flipping her hair back. "You forgot to add childlike." He smirked. "I ain't a child. You're the one acting like a child here. You know the situation we are in well enough, so just sign it. Now will you?" she insisted. "Correction. Not 'we' but 'I'. It's a 'situation' for you, not for me. So, ask politely." He said, with the smirk not leaving his face. "Seriously!?" She frowned to which he nodded closing his eyes. "Argh! Fine-", she let out a sigh before continuing, "Will you please sign these papers?" "Oh Zara, I was expecting better." he showed his displeasure. Zara sighed again. Knowing his intentions very well. She walked closer to him plastering a fake smile on her face. Seeing her approaching him, Evan stood up adorning a smile. Before he could say anything Zara smacked his face with a fist and hit him on the legs with her foot making him wince in pain. She laughed like a maniac watching him plead in front of her. "I'm still waiting, Ms. Zara." His voice snapped her back into reality. What a bold dream! She sighed in defeat, before replying to him. "Mr. Evan Nash, Will you please show some mercy on me and sign these papers agreeing to our contract marraige? Please?" "No!" ____________________________________ What happens when a hard headed and no nonsense man stumbles upon a clumsy yet equally fierce and passionate woman? And life throws an arranged marraige for them. Will love stumble upon them as well? Read as they both make each other's life a living hell and a living heaven, both at the same time, while healing each other's heart. This is the story of Evan Nash and Zara Williams.

"Are you stalking me?" His deep voice asked. "You wish, that would mean I actually thought about you enough to wonder where you are." I looked away smugly. Max moved closer to me until his face was right in front of mine. "You're saying you don't think about me?" He smirked, fully knowing what the proximity was doing to me. "I don't, why? Did you want me to?" I Regained my composure as I moved even closer, our lips nearly touching. ~~~ Alexa is a normal girl who just wanted to get through school without any trouble. In the woods, lurking in the shadows is someone who can't stay away and will definitely ruin all of Alexa's plans and change her life showing her that things aren't always as they seem. How can two people that hate each other be mates? To add to the mix, parties, late night discussions and a school trip is sure to add drama to her life. Warning: this story is sometimes very cliché and has a few of my own twists on it. The guy might make you cry, laugh or blush and wish guys like him existed in real life. (Well, at least further into the story.) This story contains swearing and some slightly mature content. You have been warned. Best rankings: - #2 humanxwerewolf - #1 gift ~This is my first story and I hope you will give it a chance!~ I promise it will get better. In a world bound by a single, dangerous agreement, 'marriage' is just a mask, and Pearl and Travis are caught in a game where trust is as fleeting as loyalty. _________________________________________ "It's none of your fucking business! You don't control my life, Travis. This isn't real, this ring is just... Isn't real! I won't be faithful to you or nobody!" I exclaimed. "I don't wanna do this" "Of course, you don't " "I don't wanna fight with you! What do you want from me? What do you fucking want? Should I fucking leave?!" He thundered and I paused, his eyes were eminent with rage, my heart beating heavily against my chest. "Tell me, Pearl" he took a step closer. "You're such a manipulative prick! You dragged me into this shit and-" "You hate me" he completed flatly "I hate you so much, I fucking hate you!" I gritted in rage. "Then say it" he urged. "Say it, Pearl. Tell me to leave. There's nothing that could change the way you feel about me." His voice dropped, rough and edged with something raw. "Say it. Should I leave?" His silver eyes pierced through me, sharp and unrelenting, daring me to do what he already thought I would. My breath caught in my throat as the weight of his words hung heavy between us, suffocating in their intensity. We were both breathless, caught in the throes of anger and something deeper-something we weren't ready to name. The room was too small, too quiet, except for the sound of our ragged breathing. "Yes," I finally forced out, my voice trembling despite my best efforts to sound strong. "Leave. Right now."
