With dreams of becoming a renowned chef and starting up her very own restaurant and also to escape her discouraging father and obsessive ex, Leigh Palmer sets off to New York from Texas to fulfill her dreams by utilizing a once in a lifetime opportunity to work at Lè Dormani, the restaurant of her dreams and the most popular five star restaurant in all of New York city, the very heart of America.
Everything seemed to be going on smoothly and as planned with her promotion as sous chef until a certain mishap which cost her her job and caused her to become the nanny to two meddling kids, two head strong teenagers and the nurse to an energetic sixty five year old man. She has no other choice than to take up the challenging task and with her hard hearted employer and heir to the Prescott Family inheritance, Adam Prescott coupled with his adamant mother, things don't seem to go all rosy living with the Prescott's.
As Leigh gradually gets into the heart of each and every member of the family through series of adventures and home made recipes, she helps individual members of the family bond once again and overcome their past mistakes as she sinks deeper into hers. She finally accepts her fate after many trials to get her shattered life back on track but when everything seemed to be perfect, what happens when the dark shadows of her past comes back to destroy everything and everyone she loves?
