Erick Pierce was a normal guy. Not popular, but not exactly a loser. He was just...average.
That was the case until he came in contact with a strange girl and randomly started developing abilities.
He has no idea what to do, or who to talk too. Eventually he accepts his abilities, swearing to never use them. Ever. But after an incident with some thugs gets him noticed by the wrong person, he'll wish he was never born.

One of a Kind
Milo Whitlock is as ordinary as you or me, only he has what some people would call "super powers." He refers to them, rather, as a curse. I just call them.. unusual abilities. When he and his family moves away because Milo's past is catching up to him, Milo finds that maybe he can have friends, maybe he can have a good life. But those thoughts are shattered when he and his newfound friends get kidnapped, and he is forced to use his unusual abilities if they want to get out. That's only half of Milo's problems, because with his unusual abilities comes.. an unusual side effect. Milo has a copy of himself, a clone, you may call him. And he's not very happy with Milo being content.

The story of a guy with extraordinary abilities and extraordinary problems. He meets friends, enemies, and loses a bit of each. I enjoy writing and drawing comic books and making my own heroes and villains and I wanted to see how turning my favorite hero into a book would turn out. Feel free to give feedback, it always helps. Ethan stared at the markings on the wall. It had been at least a month since he could recall seeing anyone; the creepy scientists don't count. He remembers his kidnapping quite vividly. His body constantly littered with new bruises from the constant prodding and poking, not to mention the wings that suddenly sprouted from his back; painfully. As the narrator, I'm tempted to simply write "Middle Finger" because that is essentially what you'll feel like I'm giving you in telling this story. However, for the sake of not being a complete dick, I'll write a little more than just a description of a disrespectful gesture. This story can aptly be described as crude and deranged. As you may have surmised, a crazy person will be telling this story, and the characters involved are indeed also all crazy in their own special ways. So, given this exercise in mental illness, the topics touched on (in no particular order) in this tale are destruction, death, superpowered wackos, torture, pain, loneliness, chaos, the will to survive, never giving up, giving up and not giving a shit, the desire to protect, failing to protect and causing more trouble than was already present, disappointing and/or abusive parental figures, bullies, unjust punishments, just punishments, racism, violent and usually superpowered fights, sci-fi gadgets, bitterness, sarcasm, twisted and demented comedy, control or lack thereof, weird and awkward high school drama, lies and brainwashing, alien aggression, moral ambiguity, unhinged villains, fantastical weapons, a piece of shit main character, conditional friendship, a fuck load of musical references, anger, fear, depression, extra-dimensional creatures, godly powers, various esoteric connections, pop culture references, and of course, in general, superpowers.Complete
