This is the third story in a series about Sherman Black, a retired CIA agent with some unusual skills and a passion for dancing. We first met him in Back to Black, a story, where, in order to save the life of the lady he loved, he had to expose the biggest secret about himself.

The Heart's Eye is the third installment in this series. Here, we find Sherman in a troubled place. He has done some things he has difficult time reconciling. He is on a mission to set things right. His quest takes him to Dokdo, a Japanese-Korean island in the Sea of Japan, where he will meet an arch-nemesis. This time, he, Sherman, will be the one finding out secrets about himself, and more.
