An AU where every person has a small dark timer on the inside of their left wrist that they were born with. They are the only ones who can see theirs. The timer tells them exactly how long they have left until they die. The timer of their soulmate appears on their right wrist, but only after they meet each other. No one ever, *ever* speaks about it. Oaklynn is a teenage girl living in a fairly normal world. She has had a tattoo of an infinity symbol on her left wrist for as long as she can remember and has always assumed that she got it as a baby. When she meets Oliver, a quiet teenage boy with self-destructive habits, her world is turned upside down.
