Kryptonians had been poisoning their planet, Krypton, for years, and its core had become extremely unstable. 16-year-old Kara Zor-El, the daughter of Queen Alaura Zor-El, had been trying to show her people that they were destroying their planet, trying to get them to change their ways, but there just wasn't enough time. All Kara wanted to do was save her family. Her parents, her 2-year-old sister Tryana whom she loved more than anything, and her people. After Not long, Krypquakes began taking place, and they got worse and worse as time went on. Now, Everyone new that the destruction of krypton was inevitable it was just a matter of when. The day of its destruction was estimated by Kryptologists, and a pod was prepared for Kara and her sister, its quardinates set for a planet called earth. The destrucion day came sooner than was calculated and Kara had to rush to get off of the planet. When she went with her mother to get her sister, Tryana was no longer breathing. The air pollution was too much for her little lungs. The sixteen-year-old had to leave her and was sent to earth with her mother's necklace. She would never see her family again. Kara's pod crashed in a place called Midvale, and a man from an organization called the DEO found her and brought her to a family he knew could take care of her. Eliza and Jeremiah Danvers, and their 17-year-old daughter Alex. Kara was the last survivor of a dead planet, she didn't speak a word of English, her new sister already hated her, and she just wanted to go back to krypton and be with her family. The young Kryptonian is convinced that no one earth could ever make her feel wanted until she meets her chemistry, AP Environmental Science, and study hall teacher, 21 year old Lena Luthor.
