Aeryn Branche, Captain of the White Crow, did not receive her title easily. After living a hard two years having to serve a womanizing captain and having to do hard labour, she managed to escape and make a life for herself.

After three years, she finally manages to build a crew and a ship. That is until she hears news of the location of the Tiger's Ruby. A treasure her previous captain wanted more desperately than a woman. A treasure she would make her own as the only way to get revenge on her former and late captain.
