Alexandrina Tate was two years old when her parents were murdered. She was sent to live with her aunt and uncle, but was removed from their home when she was seven. From then, she bounced around from foster home to foster home, hoping that someone will lover her enough to adopt her. But, after two years, with each new foster home, the hope that someone will finally save her gets smaller and smaller until one day, there's none left. When she turns thirteen, Alexandrina breaks out of her foster home from hell and goes after the thing that killed her parents. Then, when she's twenty-four, she meets two brothers with revenge plans of their own. But, when weeks turn to months on the road with the brothers, things between Trina and a certain smart-mouth Winchester go from hostile to friendly to slightly more than friendly.
